DESCRIPTION: ITV FOY FSR is responsible to provide on-site and on-call technical  and logistics support to USMC personnel relating to analysis and recommendations for changes and improvements to equipment  installation, operation, modification, maintenance, and training.

Duties entail performing support to include aspects of vehicle maintenance, repair and upkeep.



  • Provide on-site and off-site technical recommendations for operation, maintenance, modification and repair of ITV FOY.
  • Control and maintain on site parts allocations and have the ability to requisition parts for the central warehouse for parts not on site.
  • Will have extensive knowledge of the configuration, capabilities and employment of ITV FOY.
  • Be technically competent to provide ITV FOY training and analysis of the skills of unit personnel to support maintenance, modification and repair of the equipment.
  • Will provide on-site Maintenance, Operator and systems academic instruction and on­ equipment proficiency training to unit personnel, to include support on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting techniques, routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of the systems and equipment.
  • Be responsible follow on training and refresher training as requested by units .
  • Will assist, train, and demonstrate the best methods of installations, modifications and use of retrofit kits, with heavy emphasis on safety precautions.
  • Be capable of comparing operation and maintenance procedures documented in the existing equipment Technical Manuals (TMs) and technical Government Furnished Information (GFI) source data against actual equipment operations to identify discrepancies between the documents. We will document findings, conclusions, and recommendations for changes to the TM/IETM.
  • Be capable of conducting Validation and Verification of existing maintenance requirements, technical manuals, and training materials.
  • Shall emphasize safety precautions to be taken in all training and support provided. Will comply with all established Safety Rules and Regulations at all times.
  • Will provide advice on the identification of, and instruction on the use of special tools, handling equipment, and test equipment associated with and related to the primary equipment/systems.
  • Will provide advice on the development ofresolutions to difficult and/or unusual organizational and intermediate level maintenance problems.
  • Utilize computer-based repair and parts support databases .
  • Comply with policies and procedures as set forth in the corporation' s Handbook of Policy and Procedure.
  • Work, cooperate and communicate, as directed by the Program Manager, with other supervisors, team leaders, and coworkers satisfactorily. This includes the professional, mature acceptance of constructive criticism.
  • Travel as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical/training environment.
  • At least 5years of military experience as a Maintenance/Operations Instructor, Quota Controller/Scheduler, as applicable.
  • Must possess a minimum of four (4) years ' military experience equivalent to U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Military Occupational  Specialty (MOS) 03:XX, 08:XX, or 3522.
  • Must have strong knowledge ofITV Technical Manuals, use of IETMs and all associated maintenance publications, orders, and directives and the processes to document such maintenance actions.
  • Must have experience as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic and be knowledgeable in USMC practices, techniques, standards, and general application of concepts and principles.
  • Have experience in using computer-based repair and parts support databases. 7. Must be willing to deploy to off-site training sites.
