OVERVIEW:

In this role, the ideal candidate will provide support to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Partner Engagement (PE)’s Foreign Partners Division and serve as an Intelligence Advisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the senior interagency working group on unauthorized disclosures.
  • Establish and coordinate various Share Point sites to support collaborative work across the IC.
  • Coordinate sensitive documents across the IC for disclosure.
  • Facilitate discussions of complex legal issues with the appropriate parties, such as the Status of Forces and other bi-Iateral agreements for specific countries.
  • Support USG coordination and response to short-fuse queries on breaking issues that impact the equities of the USG and allies.
  • In coordination with the government lead, explore ways to enhance system functionality, increase efficiencies, and disseminate data to those with a mission "need to know".
  • Track a range of complex interactions with allied nations that have a high degree of visibility at the highest reaches of the IC, national security community, and our allies.
  • Arrange meetings, escort visitors, take detailed notes, and track action items from various meetings and conferences.
  • Assist and support organizing IC and ODNI working groups, meetings, boards, and other forums.
  • Assist in developing recommendations, resolving issues, and implementing specific ODNI policies.

SKILL SET:

  • Superior administrative skills and experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, to include rules of composition and grammar, and the ability to convey complex information and ideas clearly to employees at all staff levels.
  • Superior interpersonal skills interacting with senior-level officials, particularly with those of different background or nationality.
  • Superior knowledge of the ODNI, national security and intelligence communities, including knowledge of intelligence policy, IC missions, and interagency coordination to build and sustain effective working relationships and promote the sharing of information.
  • Familiarity with foreign affairs.
  • Superior interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including a superior ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment, and to sustain professional networks both internal and external to the ODNI.
  • Extensive knowledge of ODNI administrative policies, ODNI protocol, and office systems organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply executive support concepts, principles, and practices while dealing with a variety of time-sensitive technical and administrative requirements and procedures.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of the role of the DNI Representative; Embassy structures and organizations; and the interrelationship between IC HQ and Embassy representatives.
  • Strong cable writing skills.
  • Good organizational skills and outstanding time management ability.

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Preferred) AND 20 years work related to technical requirement against which the individual is slated to perform.
  • Superior knowledge of intelligence sharing policy with at least twenty (20) years of IC experience.
  • US government clearance:  Active or Current TS w/ a current SCI or be SCI eligible.
