Provide editorial support to the Asia Pacific Regional Center who is knowledgeable of DIA editing standards and agency written products and tradecraft standards.
Ensure consistency for expression, logical organization and development, readability appropriate formatting coordination of graphic materials with other document elements and conformity of grammar and style to publication standards.
Editors shall ensure assigned products comply with DNI/DIA sourcing requirements, Security Markings Program classification/declassification markings, DIA Style Manual for Intelligence Production guidance, procedure outlined in the DIA Technical Editing SOP, and other relevant standards.
Make sure that corrections are made and sign off in time for submission.
Ability to provide editorial support to the Join Staff, J2.
Familiar with DIA editing standards and agency written products and tradecraft standards..
Adhere to quality and production control standards as provided by the Defense Executive Highlights (DEH) staff SOP, the publication standards for the JS/J2, CAPCO standards and the DIA style guide.
Review proofs of the daily J2 ad hoc and special production requirements.
Eliminate errors found in the layout and or graphics, corrections are made and sign off on completed intelligence products in time for publication and posting to the web.
Quality control to track, update, and make corrective changes to all finished intelligence and DEH production submission.
US government clearance: Active or Current TS w/ a current SCI or be SCI eligible.
Excellent writing, verbal, and communication skills.
